Nursing my tonsillitis with some of this lovely Nescafe ginger bread latte and I’m having a weekend off from working/commissions and watching the Yogscast livestream and playing minecraft instead :)
5,676 words later and I have a completed essay. I really enjoyed writing this one and learning about the work of Magritte and his personal life was an interesting experience. Though a lot of my practical work has been on hold for the duration of writing it therefore thought I would upload some recent (as of the other day) practical work using inks. No computer edits here just the original photographs of the work with the contrast touched up slightly.

Not uni work but I haven’t done any personal artwork since before the start of the second year so it felt good having some spare time to work on this.
Just finished watching a film that was recommended to me by Lizzie and is titled ‘Men Don’t Tell’ which is an old film (aired in 1993) based on a real life story and it follows the story of a married man who is beaten by his neurotic wife and is in essence quite a sad, eye opening story. I plan to write a full review tomorrow on my thoughts about it because it ties in very well with the ideas I’m looking at at the moment.
